Refund Policy

At Gigsouk, we want every transaction to be a positive experience. This Refund Policy outlines when and how Buyers may request refunds for purchases made on the Platform.

1. Digital Templates & Products

Eligible for refund within 7 days of purchase if:

  • The product is significantly different from its listing description or preview.
  • The product file is corrupted, damaged, or non-functional.
  • The product contains malware or malicious code.
  • You received the wrong product.
  • Not eligible for refund:

  • You simply changed your mind or no longer need the product.
  • The product works as described but does not meet your subjective expectations.
  • You have already downloaded and used the product in a live project.
  • More than 7 days have passed since the purchase date.
  • 2. Freelance Services

    Eligible for refund if:

  • The Seller fails to deliver the order within the agreed timeline and does not respond to communication.
  • The delivered work is substantially incomplete or does not match the order requirements.
  • The Seller cancels the order.
  • Not eligible for refund:

  • The work was delivered as described and you request changes beyond the original scope.
  • You provided unclear requirements and the Seller delivered based on available information.
  • Partial refunds may be issued at Gigsouk's discretion when work is partially completed.

    3. Creator Tips

    Tips sent to creators are voluntary contributions and are non-refundable under any circumstances.

    4. How to Request a Refund

  • 1. Navigate to My Orders in your Buyer Dashboard.
  • 2. Select the order you wish to dispute.
  • 3. Click "Request Refund" and provide a detailed reason.
  • 4. Attach screenshots or evidence if applicable.
  • 5. Our Support team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
  • You can also email support@gigsouk.com with your order ID and details.

    5. Review & Resolution Process

  • Gigsouk will review the refund request, the order details, and any evidence provided by both parties.
  • We may contact the Seller for their response.
  • Refund decisions are made at Gigsouk's sole discretion and are final.
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • 6. Chargebacks

    If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or credit card provider instead of our refund process:

  • Your Gigsouk account may be suspended pending investigation.
  • We reserve the right to dispute unauthorized chargebacks.
  • We encourage you to use our built-in refund process for faster resolution.
  • 7. Seller Payouts & Refunds

    When a refund is approved:

  • If the Seller has already received their payout, the refund amount will be deducted from their next payout cycle.
  • If the payout has not been processed, the funds will be returned directly to the Buyer.
  • Gigsouk's platform commission is also refunded on eligible refunds.
  • 8. Exceptions

    Gigsouk reserves the right to deviate from this Refund Policy in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Fraud or abuse by either party.
  • Platform errors or system failures.
  • Force majeure events.
